I have a 2005 S185 with about 1,000 hours on it. Hand-Foot controls. Have a significant hydraulic leak but I cannot see where it is coming from. I suspect its somewhere on the back of the pump behind the engine. Hydraulic fluid is pooling on top of the fuel tank and underneath the engine. When I go up a hill it spills out the back. I checked all hoses and fittings under the cab that I can reach / see and didn't find any leaks. It seems like I will have to remove the pump or engine to get at it. Any ideas what the culprit might be before I go at it? Right now I need the machine so I'm just adding hydraulic fluid. 1 month before I could get it looked at by the local dealer.

My suggestion is, clean the machine the best you can, go get some hydraulic oil DYE add to system, then run machine a little till you see the new fluid , the dye will help you find the leak
and starting with a clean area will further help you narrow down things

Ok. I will try this.

I have a 2004 T190 that I suspect has a leaking case drain filter. The symptoms sound familiar.
I didnt realize it was leaking until I put everything back together.
While servicing the drive motors, I found several inches of muck inside the tub which I cleaned out and one of the aluminum filter housings was heavily corroded. It probably has pinhole leaks. I have to pull the tracks again to access it.

This guy has an S-Machine so I think it is leaking into the chain case ands now is spilling out through the chain case covers
