S185 drifts backwards

I have an S185 that wants to move in reverse as soon as we turn it on. It doesn't matter if the lap bar is up or down or if the controls are toggled on or not.

If I hold the joysticks forward slightly, I can bypass this issue, but curious about how to fix it.

Most joystick machines have a calibration procedure for the joysticks. You have to warm up the machine and put it on Jack stands. I've been told that the procedure needs to be run several times.

The procedure should be in the maintanence manual or you may be able to find it on the internet.

I have it for my A300 but I'm not sure it would be the same for your S185.
