Does anyone know of a source for S185 aux hydraulic coupler rebuild kits. They're damned expensive up here and I'd rather not cough up 170.00 for a new coupler when all it needs is a 10 cent o-ring. I have sourced separate o-rings and backing rings locally but it would be nice to get the whole thing at once.

That's the problem, getting them open. I have a leak on the couplers on my S250. It leaks out of the block, not the actual coupler. I can't work out how to get it apart either....
There has to be a way, if you work it out, please do share.

The female couplers are easy. All you need is a 9/16 allen wrench and a pair of slip joint pliers or the equivalent. Insert the allen wrench in the open end and grip the coupler gently just behind the sliding collar. The back part of the coupler should unscrew. Inside you will find two collets on a stem backed by a spring running through the centre. Gently pry the collets off the stem. If you aren't careful they will fly all over the place. Ask me how I know. You should then have access to all the o-rings and backing rings in the coupler. The male coupler is similar although I haven't figured out how to get off the collar that holds it in the block apart.
