Hello haven't been on in a while i'm looking for some advice from everyone. my gear pump went out on my Bobcat s175 and wondering if there worth rebuilding or if i should just buy new (bobcat in my part of the country wants $700. for a new one.) also if rebuilding is recommend does anyone know of any trusted companies that offer this or where to buy rebuild kits. It's a Sauer Danfoss 163D1184 (early machine) Thanks jamie

To rebuild the gear pump you need new gears, bearings, seals and outer housing, its not worth it. When the bearings wear, the gears eat the housing out so it won't work properly if you re-bush it.
Sadly, you will have to go for a new one.

Well Tazza you hit the nail on the head for what it needed, stopped out today to see the damage once the pump was open and needed everything you said. Looks like new it is. Thanks for your insight you are a asset to this forum.
