I'm looking to replace my 743 with one that has enough Aux flow to efficiently run a 60" brush hog. I found an S160 for sale, I have not seen it yet. The owner says it has Hi flow. I checked the specs on http://www.bobcat.com/historical_specs/skid_steer/s160_2003 It lists 2 S160's ( why does it list 2?). one says: Aux std flow 16.9 Hi flow 25.5 gpm. The other one says: Aux flow std NA Aux hi flow 27gpm. So do some machines have hi flow and no std flow? Can you have too much flow for something like a brush hog? Thanks for educating me. Bill B

Standard flow is 17 gpms, high flow is around 26.5. High flow S160 are pretty rare. Any high flow machine can also operate at standard flow. High flow is not needed for a brush hog. It all depends on what the hog calls for. Most attachments such as a hog have several motor sizes options to match the machine it would run one.
