I just bought a new JD tractor that uses hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system operating attachments. I am using attachments from my JD320 skidsteer on this tractor. The JD320 hydraulic system runs on Plus 50 motor oil. I am concerned about regularly contaminating my tractor's hydraulic system by using attachments with lines filled with motor oil. My question is, will the JD320 hydraulic system work if I flush out the Plus 50 motor oil and replace it with Hydraulic oil? My local JD dealer couldn't answer this question.

You should be able to replace the oil in the skidsteer with hydraulic fluid with no problems or you could flush the attachments each time by putting the return line in a bucket and running the attachment. That's what most people do when they rent an attachment and don't want to contaminate their system with somebody elses cruddy oil.
