i am trying to remove the lower hydraulic hose on the tilt cylinder on my 97 863 but cant get one end loose should i be able to remove nuts on each end? i can get the cylinder end loose but not off because the other end isnt free can somebody tell me what im doing wrong or give me any ideas on how to get this thing off sorry for the stupid questions but not to fimiliar with this kind of stuff sorry for the ignorance.any help would be greatly appreciated.

They should be swivel fittings on both ends. Soemtimes dirt and rust keep them from swivelling freely. There are wrench flats on the fitting. Use two wrenches, one on the flats and one on the nut, to get the swivel nut moving. Penetrating oil helps.

One more thought....
There was a build cycle a few years back where some genius decided to loctite all the JIC fittings. Get a propane torch and warm up the nut and see if it swivels.
if i use heat can i over heat it ? i have been trying to use 2 wrenches i am surprised that they are so tight because the hose ends are brass and the fittings seem to be steel thanks for trying to help i appreciate it
If you get it too hot you will damage the hose, but if you can't get it off any other way you really have no choice. As previously stated, they will have swivel ends so they should turn freely.....
