After replacing the head with a reman our 863 ran for about 5 minutes and lost power (slowly?) and now won't start. It sounds like it turns over fast (loss of compression). We had checked compression before starting and had 420, 420, 375 and 420. We wrote off cylinder 3 as having dry rings. It started great and ran fine with little to no smoke. 900 hours on the machine and the timing belt had been replaced a few years ago.
I suspect timing belt again. Is there an easy way to check this without removing the valve cover.
I don't think the valves came out of adjustment that fast.
Could have loss fuel, we know the gas tank is dirty. Can't explain the fast spinning engine.
thanks in advance
