my RC-60 has been good to me for the past 6 years with very minor issues, i loaded it up on the trailer Friday night to bring it home for the weekend to wash it up cause i got a buddy that is gonna buy it off of me. ( well he was until this happened). any ways Saturday i start it up to unload off trailer and thought i heard a pop or click or something at the loader joystick such as if it was stuck in float mode. didn't pay much attention just back it off trailer and pulled it over to stat pressure washing it. but then the loader arm would lower, i had to push the lever in float mode to let it lower down so i could get door off. so then when i idle machine down to shut it off it acted like it was real labored and killed its self. well being optimistic i went ahead and cleaned it up well hoping nothing was wrong. but there is. i am able to idle machine up and it drives fine. the loader will not lower unless pushed into float mode. its acting like something it building pressure and not relieving ( at idle), if i curl/uncurl bucket it almost seems to relieve some pressure and also i found that if i press the little button on top of the aux hydraulic block that really relieves it . i dont want to go spending thousands on parts that aint broke if you know what i mean. anyone know where to start. i have checked all fuses and relays (all good)

i have also elminated the chance of it being in the joy stick. i swapped the up and down lines , the loader when pushing the joy stick forward (when swapped) raised the loader smooth with no problems, but when pulling joystick back to lower its not smooth and labors the motor. also if i wasnt clear in the first post when engine is at idle and im siting the seat with lap bar down, (i have a magnet i use to fool door switch) when i swipe the magnet across the door switch it instantly draws motor down as if its building pressure but not by passing it. although if i rev engine up it will over power but i feel like something is going to be catastrophic

after a phone call to the ASV technical support line, the tech knew what the problem was instantly after i explained the problem over the phone. it was the three way solenoid spool on the generation block that had gotten bent. easy fix and for a couple hundred bucks from trackloaderparts.com i was back on track and parts were at my door step in two days. i really doubt any other company out there is willing to help machine owners so fast and easily. guy is picking this machine up this weekend, i will def be buying a newer and more HP ASV asap. its hard to beat what one of these things can do.

That is some great service, glad it was worked out easily.
I wonder what bent the spool though, i didn't think they would bend unless they got side load on them, but how?
