i just bought a owatonna 441 and the guy knew nothing about it other than has perkins engine. how can i find more about it like how old is it how many hp ect..,?

If you can get the engine model you should be able to look up the HP.
If the engine was not replaced, the engine number if you contacted perkins would give you an idea too.

I'm not sure on those engines, but look for a spot that has been milled flat. Kubotas have them near the injector pump.

ive got it at a shop having them look it over to find out why it wont go fwd or backward so ill have to check it out when i get it back. thanks
