NH L455 - Where is the 100 mesh screen

Hello, I'm back again w/another newbee question: My drive hydraulics are noisey and I hope to change hyd-fluid and filters this weekend: My questions are where is the mesh screen and the air vent for the hydaulic system? The service manual says to make sure their not plugged. I have the parts/ops/service manual but Its not clear to me where these are. Thanks, George

Im not famialer with the model.The filler cap on the Hydraunic tank is the vent.Yours could be differnt.There is a plastic screen cup shaped piece that can be removed and cleaned. The cap has a felt element that can be washed with solvient and blown out with air. I personally replaced mine. The dont cost much and Its important that the tank is vented.Its probably the second thing to check , after you check the oil level. Mike
