Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

G'day Gary,
Thanks for the tip mate, I appreciate it. I gave some thought to that option as I have the necessary equipment to re-drill the axles, but as yet I haven't found a source for used bobcat wheels. I can get new wheels made up for around $220 bucks each from Ajax in Moorabbin that'll take a standard 10x16.5 bobcat tyre but before I do either I need to find out what the overall height of the tyres will be.
If they're under 30 inches then I'm going to run into trouble with my ripper attachments.
Here's a link to some better quality pictures: http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c389/dasgib/
Regards,
Darren.

the 10 16.5 are 30 to 31" depends on brand, (sorry no metric mesuresments) and the 12 by 16.5 are about 33" dia.
8 lug on 7" circle, I think that may be a standard 250 3/4 ton truck bolt circle. You certainly have enoungh meat to go to 8" dia. It would not be too hard to do as its not a high speed application, small errors would not hurt.
We (meaning I) should move this thread over to the "other brands" forum and re tiltle it to better reflect the content. If thats fine with you?

Hi Ken,
Thanks for that information. It's very helpful indeed and I appreciate it greatly. Imperial measurements are fine with me as I hate metric even though we've had it here for 30 odd years :)
If I can find some cheap used wheels that'll work I'll definitely give them a shot and re-drill the flanges. Thanks again for the help.
By all means move the thread to wherever you think it should be, and appologies if I've stuck it in the wrong place.
Thanks again,
Regards,
Darren.
