Hey guys I'm used to using the big 5500-6000lb skid steers but was looking at a 3300lb NH L455 instead of my John Deere 1025R for moving dirt into my small 1 tom dump truck . Was looking at a local L455 with only 1000hrs on it and was curious about the goods and bads of this machine . It states it can lift 1200lbs but not sure to what height ? My box on my dump truck is about 5ft 5" and the John Deere 1025 is not set up for this kind of work it's limited .

The L445 weight is about 3000#. Lifting a load of 1000# and adding the weight of the boom you would need to make certain your approach to the truck is a straight and on flat level ground. I have an L445 myself and it's a very good machine.

Just looking at pics online it should raise at least to the top of the rops, which would be higher than your dump bed.
My 700 will dump into a full size 30 yard roll off, which I'd imagine is a shade over seven feet off the ground, it looks like the 455 should be capable of the same.
