Hi all, i know its not a bobcat, but i get great help in here so thought i would ask. I got an older scat trak 1350. Still have not found a manual for it but luckily nothing major has gone wrong. The 60" bucket on it is long overdue to be changed. It has holes wearing through on the bottom, and its many welds are starting to crack ect.. Problem is i can not find anything that will bolt up to it. It has an older style quick attach type system, that does not look like anything have i have ever seen. Would it be possible to have a local welder cut that portion off my old bucket and have them well it on to a new one? (assuming it is not to beat up.) Or can i have something fabricated maybe? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can take some photos and measurments if it might help? Thanks in advance! dirtyb

If you don't have the gear to do it your self, any small metal working shop will be able to do this for you. If you get a "standard" bucket that fits a Toyota or Bobcat they will be able to remove the mounting bracket and fabricate one to suits your skat track. That or you could probably get them to repair your old one. They would have the gear to cut out worn parts and weld in new sheet metal and weld up all the cracks.
Just an option. There is always a way :)

Sound good, maybe ill just put the bucket in my truck and head to a machine shop. My bucket is in pretty bad shape, (was when i got it, thought i just get a new one for it, hah! ). I have been using the skid steer for clearing small brush, trees ect... but now i need to do some digging and its pretty tough with this bucket, or should i say impossible :). If they could fix it, i would be all for it, but they may end up having to replace most of it and rebuild it :). I got a pic of the mounting system, is there any where i can post it here? thanks tazza!

You best bet would be to fab a standard skidsteer quick attach to fit you loader then any standard skidsteer attachment from any brand of skidsteer loader would quick attach right on.
Then you could just buy a bucket, or forks or anthing you heart desires.
Here is a link to ours, but there are others on the market too.

You can upload pictures in the media section on the left when you open http://www.skidsteerforum.com click media then click pictures. Just do as it tells you to upload the files. Good luck!
If that doesn't work, e-mail them to me taz38sup at yahoo.com.au naturally replace the at with @ and i will up them for you.
Ken makes a very good point, if you use that quick attach you don't have the hassle of modifying any attachment to fit your machine, it will be standard.

I like the adapter idea. however 1k is a bit more than i wanted to spend :), (only spent 3500 on the skidsteer). My dad has a buddy that said he will fab something up for me, but said it would be easiest if i could find the quick attach plate from a newer skidsteer that is being parted out. Anyone know of any bobcat graveyards??

check this adapter out, looks like it would be about 475, I suppose shipping would be bad though, it is in central Minnesota http://www.perhammachine.com/qtloaderadaptor.html

You might want to try Volvo since they bought the Scat Trak line in 2002 at http://www2.volvo.com/constructionequipment/na/en-us/?WT.mc_n=adwords&WT.mc_t=ppc&keyword=Volvo_Construction_Equip2 Maybe they might locate the manual you need.
