i have a bad hydraulic leak. i found where the leak is coming from. i think i have a bad o-ring on whatever it is that is on the left side when you're looking down into the machine after you lift the cab. my problem is i cannot get the allen screws broken loose. is there a trick to it? i am having to look in a mirror just to get the allen wrench into the screw head but i can't get enough leverage to break it loose. i have tried box end wrench for leverage and even that didn't work. not alot of room in there to work. any help will be greatly appreciated.

no there's not enough room.....tried using a box end wrench for leverage and they still wouldn't budge....i gave up for the night....will try and tackle again tomorrow morning....i was going to take the whole assembly out but i didn't know if that was a good idea or not. can you tell me what size wrench is needed to take those hose fittings loose?Can you get in there to hit it with a hammer ot try and crack the seal?
ok since i am rookie on here i have learned a few things....first my skid steer is a 246B NOT D. When you get it off, there is no reason why you can't get a new Oring from a seal shop, you only need to go to the dealer if it's a specific style seal, O rings and ram seals are easily matched at a seal shop.

Sorry for the delay in my response....finally got the control valve out....turns out that this thing has so much rust on it that there was a pin hole in the rust and that is where it was leaking from. the o-ring which i thought was the problem turned out to be in good shape but as you can see from the attached pictures, the rust on this thing is what caused this. Can you rebuild these things? i know they are expensive, even for used ones. Can anyone offer any suggestions? i am working off of a budget so i don't have alot of money to be sinking into this thing. thanks in advance....going to see if i can get the pictures to attach to this.Is there any way you could post a picture of it?

Hopefully the rust hole can be patched.....
Is it a square block with 3 lines.and a solenoid held down with 2 Allen screws?
