My Mustang 940e has a Yanmar 4TN82E. Recently the engine would start fine and then die. I replaced the fuel shut of solenoid and it will now run fine, however it will not shut off when the key is placed in the off position. Is there adjustment needed for the lever on the threaded rod that comes out of the front of the solenoid? I tried to match the placement of the lever that was on the solenoid that I took off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tony

I'd check the linkages between the lever and the solenoid. If they are tight, it may not let it run freely to shut off.
Is it smooth when the machine is off and you move the stop lever? if it is binding up, that is your issue.
