I recently acquired a 940 in decent shape. It was operated while the cluster sprocket bearings were worn out, which destroyed the cluster sprocket shaft. I'm on the west coast, and these machines seem to be an east coast thing. Is there a good source for used parts out there? I was able to locate the cluster sprocket assembly, but without the shaft, I'm knida screwed. Thanks, for any ideas.

hi
Did you make any progress with the repairs?
I lost bearings in Right cluster sprocket.
Previous owner ran very low on oil - destroyed bearings.
Any tips on how to remove shaft?
I would assume a machine shop could make one if necessary.
Thanks
Philip

Parts are still available for those chaincases
After removing T-bar and top cover on chaincase removing both chains remove bolt on outside of chaincase & drive shaft out sometimes u may have to put some heat on
the outside bushing they can get stuck from rust
