mustang 442 left side wheels won't move

I just got a call from my broter (he has my machine) the left side wheels stoped moving. Can anybody give me an idea what I may be looking at here? Thanks,

Chain, drive motor, pump.
Did they lock up? jack it up, does one move my hand a fair bit more than the other? if so, probably a chain.

the wheels seem to turn free. Where can I find a repair manual for this machine? There are tons of sites to download them but how do I nKnow If they are reputable. Thanks

Ends up the bearings went out of the drive gear. Replace all of the bearings while it was apart.
