I have rebuilt the motor and all was great until the variable drive pulley stopped working . I removed it and though I do see some wear , I did not see anything wrong. I have ordered a rebuild kit but before I remove it I was wondering if anyone knew how much pressure I should have at the pulley. I have purchased a OM and a parts manual but I can not find a service manual anywhere. My lifting seems a little slow but ok. Also I crossed referenced the rebuilt kit and it seems it was also used on a John Deere 170 skid steer. I have found a service manual for the John Deere 170 buts it's another $65 and I am not sure they are enough alike. Anyone have some knowledge or suggestions.
