Well, I put the top spool valve into the bottom and bottom into top position. I think I now need to rebuild the control valve, as now they do not operate properly. So please, when replacing seals on spool valves, don't interchange them. I have no other option than to rebuild it now. Any different advice?

I think I installed them wrong again!!!! Sometimes I amaze myself how stupid mistakes I make! I'm waiting till tomorrow and hopefully put them into right location, goodness gracious! Left foot controller goes to top valve and for boom lift. right? Right foot goes to tilt and bottom valve, right? The longer spool valve with detent balls that allow bucket to float goes on bottom for right foot controller, right? Sorry for dumb

Not sure position on the John deer valve but bobcat the bottom valve is the lift valve the middle valve is tilt and the top valve is auxiliary hydraulics

It's a 773 Bobcat, so I'll change them tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for responding.

IT'S FINALLY FIXED!!!! She seems to be doing what she needs to do! Now I only need to change all fluids and filters and she should be good. Changing seals on spool valve is pretty easy actually. See my post on how to get the detent balls and springs back into place if you need to replace the o-ring in the boom spool valve.
