metal shavings on my suction line screen????????

We decided to pull the Heston SL30 skidloader into the shop because the right side drive felt sluggish. We have also had these symtoms.... *hydraulic oil overflowing out of the resevoir tank through the fill cap until the machine warms up and a groaning noise. Machine still moves etc. and lift arms and bucket still work. When we took the suction line off we found metal shavings on the screen and in the hydraulic oil!! This can't be good! Please help.

It's never good when you find metal shavings in the system. Will likely need to have the hydrostatic pump and motors tore down to see how much damage there is.
