this is my first skid loader and the first post,,,,,, The problem that I have is that i got a M371 and they swapped the engine with a 11 hp Briggs i have found a k321 that i can buy for $150 but this has only 1 elect.. pulley on it so my thought is that i need a new crankshaft but do not know what size/length i need or how to set up the pulleys... form what i can tell i need 3 pulleys 1 runs all the time for the pump and 2 for the low and high of the gear drive with a elect.. clutch any thoughts on this?

As far as i was aware, the two pulleys with electric clutches were to give you two options for speed. If you can live with the speed you have now, why go to the extra expense of a new one? I don't believe these parts are still available from the dealer, and if they are, i bet they would be expensive.
Hopefully someone with one of these machines will give more advise.

Hi Murphr, I have a 371 that had the original engine and developed a ticking noise so I decide to replace the engine with another K 321 and once I received it from fed ex I found the crankshaft diameter with smaller so none of the 3 pulleys worked on it. Kohler made a motor just for the 371 that had a fatter crankshaft for the torque needed to run the 3 pulleys. Needless to say I did make mine work but was very tight in making the pulleys line with with the one's on the bobcat. So if your going to swap out you may have to get a little creative. hope this helps
