LX885 Injector Question

Can the fuel injectors on the emissionized LX885 be disassembled, cleaned reassembled and put back without damage? I have one that hangs up on start-up sometimes when its cold. Once things warm up, it works fine. I was thinking of taking the project on, but I would like more information before I get in over my head.

As long as it isn't a common rail style injector (has a power connector), i can't see why not, but with that said. I have never pulled one apart on your model engine.
If you are concerned, take it to an injector shop, it shouldn't cost too much for them to clean and check tti for you. I'd even look at getting the lot done if you did take it to a shop, you then know they are right.
