lx665 hydrolic troubles

help! 99 lx665 turbo.on cold starts,hydrolics won't work-error03 on display,alarm sounds(beeps).let machine run awhile,shut off,restart and hydrolics work-sometimes.may have to shut off and restart several times,maybe only once.seems worse in cold weather??

Supposed to be the engine pre heat. Not sure why it would need to lock the hydraulics. Do you still se the pre heat timer count down?
