How is the block heater held in place on my LS190? I see a pad that's not drilled and I cannot find the clamp online, if there is such a thing?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the responses. It's been a great help!

I'll stop at the dealership on my way through and find out from their resident New Holland mechanic.

I have no experience with your machine but most block heaters are a freeze plug replacement. They are held in with friction like the freeze plug.

There are however other types that screw into ports.

Thanks for the reply.

I have looked at them and they've got an o-ring around the circumference and there's an undrilled boss where it's supposed to go. That's what led me to believe there would be a retaining clamp.
