LS170 charge pressure light switch

My old charge pressure switch(looks like it had an adjustment screw?) had been leaking a little for quite some time. I rebuilt engine, hydro pumps etc. Installed new switch NH#87036787. Got engine running everything fine but hydro charge light stayed on. Installed gauge and have about 180 charge pressure. Installed old pressure switch and everything is good. tested new switch with shop air line 150psi and contacts do not open. Anyone know what the setting is for this switch? Sounds like I have a bad switch? Thanks

I have replaced dozens of those switches. Not just my machines. After 6 or so on mine the wires were unhooked. Havent seen a new switch that was bad but have seen several with little run time. Don't remember the exact specs for charge pressure but it is in the 150-200psi range. 180 is good. Make sure the air is out of the system before you condemn the switch but it sounds like you have a bad one.
