Hi there. I have a 2005 New Holland LS170 with 2200hrs. Lately I have been getting an Air Cleaner restriction light. I replaced both air filters and I still intermittently get the alarm. Has anyone else had this problem or know the cause.

2. Air Cleaner Switch Located behind air filter housing on hose to turbo.
Remove one wire at a time from the sensor
switch, 1, on the air cleaner canister. Remove the
B wire, and the EIC board will light and beep
when the wire is removed from the switch.
Remove the B/Y wire, and the EIC board will light
and beep.
If the EIC board lights and beeps, the EIC and
circuit wire to the sensor is OK. The problem is in
the sensor; replace the sensor. If the EIC board
fails to light and beep, check the wires from the
sensors to the EIC board.
I believe this is a normally closed (on) switch, meaning the wires are joined to each other inside the switch. When air filter restriction gets to high, the switch breaks contact (goes open or off) turning on the alarm.
Try hooking both wire to the same terminal on the switch, if the intermittent warning stops, the problem is the switch (assuming your filters are good as you stated) If it continues you have a bad wire connection somewhere
