I have been having an issue with the red hydro light coming on when I am facing or driving downhill. The stop engine light comes on as well. Shuts down 30 seconds later. The main thing that is confusing me is if I level out or start up hill, light and alarm go away. Plenty of oil. I use rotella heavy duty 10w-30. no power loss. I even put an extra quart in to see if that worked. Filter has about 60 hrs on it.

I would start by replacing the oil pressure sender.
That is the one next to the filter, correct? I had a wiring issue last year, so those were the first things I replaced. How often should I have to change the sender? Or the filter for that matter?

If it is the hydro light then the sender is not next to any filter. Raise and latch the seat up. Looking is from the front to the back of the engine you will find the hydro pumps attached to the bell housing plate. Look at the top to the right (looking in from the front) hydro pump and you will see several fitting. One of the fittings has a small black hose attached to it. Follow the hose to reach the sender......If it is the engine light coming on then the sender is by the oil filter on the engine. And yes those have been causing problems......The sender by the hydraulic filter is for filter restriction and not pressure.

Great, thanks, I will try that.
