The little research I did shows Ford used a 1.6 in Festivas and Escorts. Could it use a car engine or maybe it's a Ford tractor engine? I do know my buddy replaced a 4cyl. gasser from his Bobcat and intsalled a V6 from a Pinto/Capri/Mustang. It took considerable fab work though, but he said the flywheel and stuff all matched and lined up perfectly.
