I bought a 3 point log splitter and converted it to fit my skid steer. It is made from 7 X 14 X 1/2 beam reinforced and VERY heavy. The wedge is 9.5" tall. It was in SAD shape when I bought it and took me about 3 months of off and on work to get it finished. Here are the videos I posted to youtube of the build process and the splitter in use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwWDjmbBR24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10QCo7tiv20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI4hCjxI0Nw

Nice job, seems to work effortlessly. I don't seen any flexing of the I beam.

I made mine the same way except that the wedge moves. That way when I split the wood never moves way from me. Looks nice though.

The angle iron welded on the sides eliminates i-beam flexing. Of course, a 7 x14 x 1/2 i beam helps. I will post some vids of the log splitter used sideways when I get some more wood.

The light bar works FANTASTIC but it was 234W and 60" across. You can almost melt the snow with it!! I had foam filled tires and had them recapped from the local Bandag dealer with ESL caps I believe. It was expensive but the tread is 44/32" deep and works great.
