Leading edge of bucket

I am going to try to use my bobcat to clear around my pond this winter. The pond is frozen now but will not be driving on the ice. I want to clear brush from around it. Should I sharpen the leading edge of the bucket so that is slices/cuts through the brush easier??? Thanks Steve
