I just bought an L775 and it is leaking fluid from the vent on the four-way gearbox. It is a gas-powered machine that runs really well from what I can tell but would like to get this fixed before I do too much with it to avoid having more problems. Is there a way to tell where the extra fluid is coming from to fill the gearbox to full so it overflows? I am thinking it could be the input shaft seal but would like to know if somebody else has experienced the same problem to save me some hassle. Do you have to drain the whole hydraulic system to remove the input shaft to fix the seal if so? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
