Kubota V1702 compatible alternator?

How do i know which alternators are compatible with my 743 with kubota V1702? It's quite expensive to get an OEM part shipped here, so i was hoping to find a suitable alternative.

I've not "replaced" a starter or alternator in ages. I have them rebuilt by a local shop and they come back as good as new for almost nothing. I would see if you have a rebuilder locally and try that. And I agree, OEM is really expensive...

on all my 743Bs we install a older style GM alternator, cheap under 100 and even less from a auto wrecker, simple to wire up

It never pays to go cheap, go oem because in most cases you will have to replace the aftermarket one within 6 months to one year if your lucky with no warranty.

The oem should be cover under warranty only if install by a dealer

I work at a dealer and I see it all the time, customer just replaced his fuel pump and now his 10 amp fuse keeps blowing but the customer insist the problem is not the new pump lol
