Timing belt new?
Congrats! Sweet! And make sure that's really a high flow machine before the ink's dry on your check. Seems like all have the hi flow button, but if the light doesn't come on when you push the button, start to worry. I'm going from distant memory on this one, so someone else chime in here if I got it wrong. :) ---Bobbie G

keep in mind hi flow , is only used for hi flow attachments( as in asphalt planer .trencher etc) hi flow is aux circuit only has no other benefits.

I meant to call BOBCAT today, but got very caught up with catching up on the real work. The serial number is 514442936 incase anyone can break it down. This machine is super stout. I like these larger machines. They are just so versatile & solid. As far as the timing belt goes, I do not know. Can anyone send a picture or two of what the job looks like when replacing it? I honestly don't like the hi-flo part (except for the higher resale value); it just seems like they is even more to maintain or have break on me. As soon as I can get these pictures to load, it will show (5) hydraulic quick disconnections on the front of the lift arm; (3) on the left & (2) more on the right side. It also has some electrical connection on the left side, plus some toggle switch, too. The foam tires are my favorite type though; no more flat tires & more weight for counteracting heavy lifting / loads. It does have a bolt / loose motor mount bolt & the glow-plug light is flashing, besides that she seems so SOLID!!

In the past, I've called Bobcat Marketing Service at 701-678-6165 with the serial number. They can tell you the year and what series unit you have, plus all the options as delivered from the factory. :) ---Bobbie G

Greasemonkey: Hey Brian. I don't know how to email you. I would need your email address.

SkidRoe: I swear I tried that process several times. I must be doing something wrong. I'd like to share the few pictures I took yesterday. I will try a little later tonight.

Check GreaseMonkey's profile (click on his user name), his e-mail is there.
What browser are you using? It only works with Internet Explorer. And you have to have the HTML text box option checked on your profile page, bottom most check box.

I placed the Craigslist picture in your "test" post above.
Not sure what you are doing wrong. I just right clicked on the Craigslist picture, <copy>; then right clicked in the post box, <paste>.
BTW - Congrats on your purchase, impressive looking machine.

Hey 'fellas'!! I did raise the cab right before I bought it. I did see a good bit of dirt in the bottom, but NO leaks at all. It has a little more play in the controls than I'd like, and that is allowing the tiniest amount of creep, but there were NO leaks found. Beyond that, the glow plug system seems to be inop, as indicated by the flashing glow plug light & long crank in cold weather. However, I thought it was TOO good to pass up. I will pull the plug to examine the fluid condition, but past that, what am I looking for exactly?? Just checking for anything out of the normal?? Thanks for helping me with that picture. I know it doesn't show all the goodies on the front (or underneath the seat), but I thought it would serve well as an idea of how massive this thing is. I Think it is actually BIGGER than the other 863's I had used.
