About a month ago my 575 started up and ran fine. Iusedit for about ten minutes and then the boom started lifting very slowly. I drove it around to park it and it stopped moving forward. I let it sit overnight and went out and started it up and she drove fine, boom lifted, etc., for a couple of minutes. Then the book would barely lift and she wouldn't turn in place, only go back and forth. One hydro did make a little noise, but nothing major. I added a little fluid but I think it had plenty in it. I let it sit a couple of days and then started it again. Boom went up slowly. I finally got it up and locked it up. Machine would move back and forth but not really turn well. I shut her down and she has sat since. I noticed that the forks I have on her have slowly settled about halfway down in three weeks time. Normally they would drop all the way forward in a couple of days. I've talked to a couple of people about it and gotten some suggestions. I changed both filters. That did not change anything. I thought it might be pumps/hydros, but the previous owner thought not. My neighbor, who works on hydraulics, thinks it is likely the valve body (under the seat). Thoughts on what it could be? If it is the valve body is it rebuildable or just buy a new one? Neighbor says to get pumps from Char-linn (sp?) if needed. Anyone have a link for that? Appreciate any insight you guys can offer. How does the motor join to the pump?
If belt driven, could it be slipping?

I believe it is direct drive. I have never seen a belt on it other than the fan belt on the engine.
It was just a thought, some machines use a belt, and when they slip the issues are much the same as yours. If there was a belt, i'd think it would be more obvious.
Hopefully someone with this model machine can give more ideas.
