i think its working when i turn the key on i can hear it click and after it dies i can hear it click again.Fuel shut off solenoid is the only thing I can think off that would set a code for the thing dying. I think there was a post in here not to long ago for the exact same thing.
I have the exact same problem with my 6675. It'll start and run for a couple seconds when in Run mode. If I switch it to service mode it'll run forever with no problems...but obviously the controls are locked out. So far I've searched the archives and have come up with the following: Start interlock relay faulty There's a diode (1N4004) that fails (I think it's located by the fuse panel and service/start switch) This is the cheapest fix $15 for diode, or some guys get one at radio shack for $.50 Defective service/run rocker switch Seat switch or harness problem. I'll be troubleshooting over the next couple days and will post what I find. Goodluck.i think its working when i turn the key on i can hear it click and after it dies i can hear it click again.
I would find out what code F965 means, then you know what to look for. The engine may be fine, but the unit is going into protective shutdown. FYI, 6675 where made by NH and are in way simaliar to a 320.I have the exact same problem with my 6675. It'll start and run for a couple seconds when in Run mode. I was just thinking, if you mash the right combo of buttons on the dash, the unit will "lock". In lock it will start then die right away, I don't remember if it sets any codes, it's been 5 years since I worked on them. I did this once.I would find out what code F965 means, then you know what to look for. The engine may be fine, but the unit is going into protective shutdown. The code for f965 is fuel level sensor input high but I can't figure out what it could be?I would find out what code F965 means, then you know what to look for. The engine may be fine, but the unit is going into protective shutdown. FYI, 6675 where made by NH and are in way simaliar to a 320.
I can't see why the computer thinks that is a critical fault to shut it down, but it could be a bad sender or worn through fuel sensor wire. Try disconnecting the sender and see what error you get?The code for f965 is fuel level sensor input high but I can't figure out what it could be?
if you accidently set the lock out code I dont think it will start at all. You can get the master code from the dealer to unlock it if you think it may have happened. had it happen once to me on the 665 which I think is the same machine.I can't see why the computer thinks that is a critical fault to shut it down, but it could be a bad sender or worn through fuel sensor wire. Same thing just happened to mine. I have the same code. I know the security code and entered it and it shows as unlocked, but still acting like it is locked out. I have cycled the code, locked it and unlocked it a few times and still runs for 3 seconds and dies. Ran perfectly yesterday, and now it's acting up. Not sure how long the code has been there as I have never had a problem before. Is there a way to clear the codes? Sadly i think you need to talk to the dealer about that, see if they can give you the master code to overide everything.....Same thing just happened to mine. I have the same code. I picked up a shut off solenoid today to try it. At first glance it looked simple enough to replace, 2 bolts and a plug. Then I notice that there must be a pin that goes through the end of the solenoid. So before I tear into the machine and start pulling things apart, has anyone who has done this got any tips? How much do I need to remove to get at the darn thing and replace it? Just at a quick glance it looks like the rad, fan, injection pump, etc need to come off to get access. Am I missing something and making this too difficult or is there even more to it than I think? Thanks.Sadly i think you need to talk to the dealer about that, see if they can give you the master code to overide everything.....

I am in this exact same spot. What did you find out? Is there a bar or a pin holding it in?I picked up a shut off solenoid today to try it.
