JD 240- Reinstalling Cab Door

I picked up a 1999 JD 240 with cab. I bought the machine and the cab door wasnt on the machine. I am trying to install the door, and its a little tough! Whats the trick? The big handles on the door keep hitting the grab handles on the front of the machine. I tilted the cab a little but I still cant seam to get the door in far enought to get the rollers on the tracks.

I just purchased a 260 and have the same problem. did you figure it out? I cant get the door on to save my @**! any help would be appreciated.

I have not read up but they are pretty good manuals I would think the procedure is in there.
