Hi all. It's been forever since I posted my Hydra Mac 8A restoration page.

I've finally been able to enjoy it a bit lately. I have a little video of me breaking my chintzy auger mount. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqPLpFBvL8Q
(mount has since been repaired and MUCH improved). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJPxuUCnGPw
Anyway, I'm all excited due to a new toy acquisition. This Saturday I'll be dragging home a nice little micro excavator. It's a Wacker Neuson model 803. Even for a mini excavator, it's prettty tiny, but still big enough to do real work. I think it will fit right in with my little skid steer. I'm building a nano equipment fleet!
The nice difference between my skid steer and this hoe is that the skid steer, '72 vintage, was an absolute, total disassemble and restoration while the new toy is a 2015 model and in really excellent shape (just a few hundred hours on it). So kinda nice that I can just use it instead of restoring it for 9 months first. It's well-designed too and the controls are nice and progressive compared to what I'm used to. Smooth!
This isn't my actual machine but here's what I got:

Oh man, is this gonna come in handy for my acre. I feel like a toddler on Christmas morning.

Dangit, sure wish I could edit my own posts.
The link to the restoration page was supposed to point here:

Boo about breaking something, but awesome new on getting a other member of the digga ma gigger family.
I'd still like to see a ROPS on your skid steer, i have never rolled my machine, but anything to help keep you safe is a good thing.
