I need help on my 825

Don't be too hard on your self, you are doing pretty well with no guidance from anyone else! I know when i started on my machines i asked a heap of quetions and got replies as others had experience with them.

Sorry, but i have no idea never worked on one..... But it does make sense, you need a spacer between bearings or they will bind up.
You did mention that the manual shows it there, so you seem to be on the rite track.

Spacer goes in the sprocket between bearings. Smooth turning after that. I re-run the chain and have the axles installed and tensioned, but the side in question seems a lot louder than the other side when I turn the wheel hubs. This has me nervous. It is a constant noise when turning, not like there is something loose in one spot, so I think it will be ok. Could this be from removing the chain entirely and perhaps I put it back on either flipped or reversed? The other side I didnt completely remove the chain, so it is obviously seated in the same position so maybe its quieter? ANy thoughts are appreciated!!

It is mechanical for sure. Sorry. I had the axles disengaged. Checked it again and it sounds smooth, like a chain running over sprockets, just louder than the other side. I got thinking, metal moves and distorts over time. Maybe the chain is back on top side down now?? Less/ More wear causing it to run a little louder?? Just thoughts really. It seems to ride without binding or anything. I am putting her back together and gonna give it a try. I will play witht the tension a bit more to see if that changes anthing though. Good idea. Well, got her all back together, and am happy to say leak free for about the past 6 hours or so. Seems to be running andin good working order. Pump picked up fluid no problem. I did start it with the tranny covers off and she spat and bubbled a bit clearing air and what not, but flow was pretty much instantanious.
