Well there are always pro's and con's to things like his

with first asking if you actually have room/clearance for them
some times wheel spacers are add(which then also add even more stress to drive train)
for some negatives,
they add a lot more stress to drive train,
they can rob power
they will or can tear up and damage concrete and pavement
they suck on ice and hard packed snow!from my experience!

pros' they offer a lot more traction flotation on softer ground like mud mud
can add in traction on hills, and at times can make things more stable(but can also cause tipping issues too! so its kinda bolt pro and con, haha!


OTT really doesn't have anything to do with brand of machine, its how there used, IF they fit and what mods have to be made to fit them
from there its driver related to abuse or not using them and on what surfaces~!
