Hydraulic V snow plow

I picked up this snow plow from a auction for $300 and mounted it to my 453F.

I just bolted a piece of 2" x2" square tubing with brackets for the push tubes welded on up in the top of the bucket.

I installed a 6 wire trailer plug in the rear and ran the wiring down the top of the lift arm. The clips that hold the wiring to the arm are quick realease so I can remove the blade and pile snow with the bucket when needed.

It's fully hydraulic for all angling.

I didn't get the controls with it so I built my own and mounted them out of the way in the cab.

It should make plowing my 1/2+ mile long driveway a lot easier from now on. It gets cold sitting out in the wind on a old Ford tractor plowing with a 3 point blade. I have side windows and a door for the Bobcat.

Very nice job! all you need now is an enclosed cab with a heater and you will be in luxury while working. Jump in the skid steer to warm up

I do have the cab inclosed with a door but no heat. Just being out of the wind be be fine with me. Sometimes when the wind is blowing the snow around I have to cut drifts off my road 3 or 4 times a day or it will be 4 to 5 feet deep where it passes thru a cut in the hill side. My original plan was to mount it on my Honda mini truck but I didn't want to do all the fab work this year that would take. Not only would I have needed to make something to connect the push tubes to I would also have to mount a winch to lift the plow.

Wow nice blade for that price.
Very sure you wil really like it over the rear 3pt blade, plow going forward now.
