We just built a grapple attachment for the bucket of the bobcat. It works good , except the hydraulic cylinder speed is like the speed of light !! How would one slow the cylinder speed that is run off the aux hydraulics on my A300 ?

You can buy flow restrictors that are adjustable. You can then dial in just what speed you want.

TSC has 3/8" and 1/2" pipe thread flow restrictors. You may need adapters depending on the fittings and size of your hoses. The restrictors are about $3-4 and you only need one. For small cylinders, they slow the flow down nicely. There are other fancier and more expensive restrictors.

radman1, tsc has 8-9 pages when I typed in 'hydraulic flow restrictor'. You have a part# or a better search term?.

Thanks
