Whats wrong with yours? All the control blocks i have worked on simply use quad rings to hold the high pressure back. Its very rare for a spool to be is such a bad state that it is no longer servicable, but it does happen.
Those seal prices are very good! I pay about AUD $25 per kit from my local hydraulic seal shop. They only use top quality seals, hopefully these kits are good quality too.
