How's life?

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

Doing well, thanks for asking. Our Bobcat 443 is still chugging away, just treated her to a new starter motor so she's good to go for a bit longer.

Still reading the forum a lot, just not much to contribute. In fact, today is PM day, got oil and filters lined up.

Busy landscape tree season. Nothing significant broken lately on the bobcats…

Doing well, thanks for asking.
Me got a few things fixed since covid but my 1818 has remained steady. Harder to get in and out of than my old 1816 and I lost 20 lbs! Being 75 and having lots of old age joint pain doesn't help. Thanks for asking!

My Mustang 342 sits because one of the wheel motors has a leaky seal that fills the chain case. Been sitting for too many years now. I spent a lot of time fixing things when I got it, including re-building one of the wheel motors ($400 in parts). Only used it probably less than 10 hrs, then this problem. Haven't been able to get the time or motivation to dive back into it. Plenty busy with the machining/ welding business tho.

Run em every day, fix em once in a while.

Milling the manifolds for the 1835B gas. Gasket was junk and the port flanges tilted in opposite directions.

New engine to hydro coupler in the diesel.
