How to set timing on 1992 Toyota SDK 10 Skid Steer

I'm new to the forum and would appreciate ANY information on my skid steer pertaining to setting the timing. My Toyota SDK 10 has a single bent push rod on it and I think it is because the belt, or chain jumped time. However, I can't find any information on how to set the time on this machine. I have the maintenance manual for it, however it gives no instructions on how to set the timing. I don't just want to put another rod in it without setting the timing. Any help would be appreciated. This machine has the 1Z 4 cylinder diesel in it. Thanks
