How may hydraulic pumps are on NH skidsteers? I always thought there was 1 for the boom and one for hte steering, but I was on loader parts source website and noticed they have a pump listed for the right and left drive. So there are 3 pumps and 2 drive motors? Just curious...

Yup, you are right, three pumps assembled as a unit, all in a row. From the engine there is the two pumps for propulsion (steering), and on front is the gear pump for boom operation. The two drive pumps supply the two drive motors at the chaincases. If I'm not mistaken, Bobcat brand uses a traverse mounted engine with belts driving the pumps. NH uses a more "direct drive", all pumps coming off the engine in a straight line.
