I've hooked up an aftermarket heater in this 246 cat and can't figure out why I'm not getting heat. Hooked it up the same as a 236b machine...one line right out of the water pump and one into the radiator where the sight glass is...that machine worked great. So my question is...in the pic where I have the one hose hooked up...is this the output or return? I'm thinking it's the output, but when I unhook the hose - it's not putting out antifreeze. Thought I have an air lock, but have tried to get all the air out of the system. I'm baffled. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v85/barndwellers_md/002-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v85/barndwellers_md/002-2.jpg

I found out I had to hook the supply line up right above the temp sensor (there's a plug to remove) behind the thermostat in order to make the loop active. For some reason the B series is different. Not a lot of room, but made pipe fittings work.

can I ask which heater you used and how it fit?
