I have a Gehl Mitey Mac with an Onan NHC MS/3406C engine that won't start. I have no idea what it is. Please help me. I need to get this thing running again!

What does it do or not do? does it crank? blow smoke? petrol or diesel engine? is the fuel fresh? if petrol, do you have a spark?

It cranks over, doesn't blow smoke, it's a gas, and the gas is fresh, and there is no spark at all. Also, my battery is good, but it barely turns over.

Could your aux hydraulics be stuck on causing slow cranking? have you checked your battery connections, make sure you check both ends. Is the starter getting hot? are the connectors to the starter or chassis getting hot? if so, you have high resistance in these areas that will cause slow cranking.
Are you getting power to the distributor/coil? Are you points stuck? both of these will prevent you getting a spark.

OK, I suspected all of the remedies that you mentioned. I don't get any spark off of the spark plugs, and points. And, do you have a way of testing the distributor coil, because it won't start with jump or anything. The battery is fully charged, and it has 800 Cranking Amps. The starter is getting hot, and the distributor was getting spark. The connectors getting too the starter are hot as well. If it's high resistance, what do I do to check if it is high resistance? And if it is, what should I do if it is? Last year, I put new points in, and spark plugs. I just replaced the spark plugs today. And last week, it started just fine.

Is the coil part of the distributor or is it external? If its external, you can do a rough test by applying 12V to the two small terminals by brushing a wire over the +ve one. You should be able to get a spark out of the high voltage connector and ground. Be careful, they can kill if you touch the high voltage parts!
Connectors to the starter with long cranking will get warm, but with a few seconds of cranking they shouldn't be too hot to touch.

Okay, So I got a new starter, and it worked for these 8 months. It was a cheap piece of crap on ebay. Today, it sounded like crap when I tried too start it. I took everything apart, and in the shroud in the flywheel, there was a HUGE piece of the coil. It covered the gear that controlled the flywheel. It just snapped off. So, I am going too either get a new one, or have the original one rebuilt. Any idea where I can get one? Also, I am looking for an engine for it. The model number of the engine is: NHC-MS/3406C Thanks!
