I have a 2007 Gehl 4640e Turbo with 500 hours on it. Yesterday it was 90 degrees here. As soon as I would start my machine the heat sensor light on the right panel would turn on, and the machine would start beeping. After running for about 30 seconds the machine would just shut off. The temperature guage was showing that the machine was not hot at all. Any ideas of what would trip this sensor, and/or how I can fix it. Thank you!

Figured out that this was happening because of a faulty oil temperature sending switch. The sensor screws into the engine and has two wires on it. A temporary fix was to just connect the two wires together to bypass the sensor.

Glad you got it sorted out. Senders are pretty common to fail on most machines, i had a new pressure sender for a Kubota engine leak. Not bad when it was just out of the box.
