Broken drive chain? With the wheels turning, if I understand correctly, it sounds like they are freewheeling. So some where it was "disconnected" from the drive motor. look at the chain on the left side and see it anything at all is turning. If the drive sprocket is turning when you try to move it the drive motor and trans should be good. look at the shaft inside the drive sprocket, is it turning with out the sprocket turning? If it is, the splines may be stripped on the shaft or drive gear. Or it the chain tensioner suddenly loosened up and the chain is not on the sprockets. Was it making any strange noise like a grinding or growling or a bang etc? My guess is it's not in the transition if it will freewheel, but that's just a guess. I have broke the welds on the drive sprocket hubs (the sprocket and hub are 2 pieces welded together to make one unit) and they spun in the hub that has splines on the axle shaft, but not both at once, just one at a time, doubt that is it but possible you might want to look, but only need to check if the chain is turning and the wheels are not. If it will be any help, here is a link to a parts manual for a 2600 that will show all the parts in the drive system that might help you see what could be wrong. http://pdf.germanbliss.com/HL2600SkidSteerLoaderpartsManual.pdf You will have to copy and paste the link in your search box, I can't seem to get links to show up so you can just click on them to go to them. Let us know what you find and if I can be of any help. Any details you can share will help everyone else help you figure it out, there are some smart guys on here, I'm sure some one can help.
